You can travel through a country or experience it, and the trips we offer are based on experiencing Indonesia. We take you past the sights of the islands and complement this with a (local) experience. A fun bike ride through extensive rice fields and stops in small villages. Dining at people’s homes, walking through beautiful nature, but also a stop with the car at a local factory that makes a delicacy from the region. Our trips can be categorized into :
Package holidays
A pre-arranged trip of a certain number of days for a fixed price. The departure date is flexible, and you purchase your own flight ticket (if desired, we can assist with this). The trips listed on our website are package trips. Not only will you find our highlight trips in this offer; beautiful diverse round trips in which we take you along the highlights of the islands.
We also present our offerings in our experience trips, where we aim to engage with contemporary Indonesian society as much as possible. Especially (former) backpackers who are less able to organize their round trips themselves (due to lack of time) will find their ideal travel wishes reflected in these trips.
Measurement travel
Preparation and collaboration are important when planning a long journey with specific travel wishes. After our initial contact in which you indicate your travel wishes, we will email a travel itinerary including a quote. No matter which island of the archipelago you would like to visit, this initial travel itinerary is the beginning of our collaboration. We strive to create a trip that is as closely aligned with your travel wishes as possible. We are located in the country you are traveling to and provide tips and advice that suit the local situation.
Transportation only

Bicycle trips
In addition to short bike trips in Java, Budi Tours also offers a new way to experience Java and Bali by bike. For this trip, you will have a car with a driver, a local English-speaking guide, and bikes provided. You will ride a pre-arranged route but will cycle certain parts of this route along the way. The guide will cycle with you. The car with luggage will drive at the rear or ahead. The overnight accommodations are pre-determined, but the departure dates are flexible.
HBC – travel (hike, bike & camp)
These are 100% off the beaten track trips. We put together a global route but overnight stays are not predetermined, we do provide an indication. We try to camp as much as possible along the way. In the car (with a driver), tents are included, bicycles are on the back, and together with a local guide, you will experience the island. Along the way, you will sleep in a hotel, at people’s homes, and where possible, camping will take place.
