Be well informed about required vaccinations or the necessity of taking Malaria tablets no later than 4 to 6 weeks before departure to Indonesia. It is always good to make sure you have a good mosquito repellent (Deet). A mosquito net is necessary on some islands and/or certain types of travel, e.g. a trip with many treks, then taking a mosquito net with you is definitely recommended.
